Tonight marks 7 years of jazzing the FM waves, and more and more, flashing the fiber optics of the internet. Was hardly thinking 2011 it would still be growing. APRIL 2011 : UPDATE APRIL 22 2011: POSTPONED – The 2011 SOBA awards announced this week that due to the sudden illness of awards founder RUDDY ELOI, the awards show was indefinitely postponed. The awards were to be held May 1st 2011, at the Outremont Theatre. More news on the status of the 2011 awards will be forthcoming. Our thoughts and wishes for a speedy recovery go out to Ruddy.

this week's jam session to find Dave Turner and Cameron Wallis jamming
along with house regulars.
FEB12 : CHRISTINE JENSEN returns to Jazz Boulevard tonight to talk about her latest CD on Justin Time Records – Treelines – a jazz orchestra project featuring her sister, renown trumpet player Ingrid Jensen. We feature a special opening set tribute to Len with a clip of the celebrated 'Friend of Jazz' himself opening his last show (special thanks to CKUT-FM for re-broadcast rights). ABOVE – Andre Menard, Co-founder & Artistic Director of the Montreal International Jazz Festival dedicates the remainder of the festival to Len.
Later in the program, we feature an interview with West African Guitarist Lionel Loueke performing at this year's Montreal International Jazz Festival.
